Committees

 The Candidates Committee identifies and documents opportunities for public service at the local and state level, recruits potential candidates, revises the WILD endorsement application, and makes final endorsement recommendations to The Board. 

 The Communications Committee uses multiple channels to keep members, stakeholders, and the community informed about activities, events, and issues, working closely with other committees to develop content for press releases, articles, emails, podcasts, and video, while also managing the monthly content calendar, email distribution lists, and serving as webmaster. 

 The Legislative Committee tracks priority legislation, informs and organizes members to respond to upcoming legislation by planning necessary proactive and reactive actions, such as coordinating Lobby Days, speaking with elected officials, attending council meetings, and leading social media campaigns. 

 The Membership Committee maintains all membership records, verifies and tracks dues payments, manages name badges and new member thank you notes, handles sign-in and greetings at meetings, follows up with guests and non-renewing members, and develops initiatives to solicit new members.
